EZMIX vs Alloy

I remember this being here somewhere-although not in the title. Anyway, I have been running the demo of EZMix2 for 2 weeks now. Alloy blows it away IMHO-Alloy is more transparent and the output is fabulous.
I just find alloy a much better tool.

You talking about the new EZMix 2 from Toontrack. (just upgraded)

A nice quick way to setup a sound.

I use Alloy if I want control of more detail at the track level.

oZone 5 Adv. on the Masters.

This will probably get bounsed to Software, but I've been kurious about EZMix.

Kan you aktually just slap it on all the trakks and end up with a completely usable miks?

I guess for Bapu and Mike V think so. And they are knowledgable users. I just find it doesn't do a lot. Guess I am just too use to Alloy-I bought it when it first came out. You can demo EZMix2. I have and I won't be buying it

EZMix has been my go to on guitars as of late.

I typically get pretty darn good stems from Grant & Strummy for our CHB projects and they may only need a scootch of touch up. EZMix has just the right scootch, IMO.

When I want chorus on my bass I use EZMix.

Do you play guitar and record it yourself? Just curious. I do and never need to do much at all-mostly due to the AxeFXII, but that's another story. When I want chorus on bass I us a chorus. But like I said above, I know you guys know what your doing so I am sure that EZMix2 is fine-it's just not for me when compared to alloy.

I respect and recognize (by reading posts over the last 6+ years) that you guys know your stuff better than I.
I suppose I am used to alloy, it works great for me on every track. Then Ozone 4&5 on mians and\or busses.
If it weren't $149 I probably would add it to my collection seeing as I need al the help I can get when it comes to mixing. :-)
The demo is forever but limited to 15 minutes at a time.

Alloy is a beast compared to EzMix (or my perception of EzMix). EzMix appears to split the community so there's a 50/50 chance it may appeal to you and your workflow. Alloy is a typical iZoptope approach to help mixing. If you like the way iZotope go about things then it'll be right up your street. Of course, it could be argued you need neither as you've probably got all the tools already. Keep an eye out for secondhand license transfer. It makes it a whole lot cheaper.
