"Program can't start because xerces_2_6.dll is missing...

...from your computer. Try reinstalling program to fix problem" is the error I get when opening X1d."
That said it did the same thing with X1c until I disabled scan on start-up. 
No problems afterwards other than the error message so not a big deal just curious what could cause this (I don't even know what that dll is for or if I need it).

    The only reference I can see for that dll is is to do with Adobe, nothing to do with Sonar

    hmmm...that seems weird since it's a dedicated machine and doesn't have any Adobe products installed...oh well, I guess it's not a big deal...thanks Jonesy

    Xerces is also an XML parser that can be used to enable a program to parse XML.  I would suspect that one of your plugins is using XML as its way of storing parameters, setups, etc., and that by selectively disabling your plugins you can isolate the problem.
