FREE VST PLUG-INS PROBLEM **** I DONT KNOW HOW TO INSTALL THEM**

I FOUND ALOT OF FREE VST - PLUGINS BUT DONT KNOW HOW TO LOAD THEM, CAN SOME ONE TELL ME STEP TO STEP ON HOW TO DO IT ON SONAR X1

    Same as the paid ones. Put them (the .dll files) in the folder where your vst plugins reside. (Or install them there if the plug comes with an installer). In SONAR scan them with the plugin manager - you may have to point the plugin manager to where the folder resides.
    If all of this is completely new to you, you should spend a bit of time with the manual. Your time will be well spent.

    Unzip them first if they are zipped

    Install them if they need installing

    Add the DLL file to X1's plug in list via the cakewalk plug in manager

    I prefer to put third party or free plugins in a separate folder on the hard drive then add that folder in the prefs within Sonar. Keeps them separate from the factory plugs.

    you were using FL Studio earlier. you are either trolling, in the wrong forum, or need to quit pirating and read some manuals.
