Korg nanoSERIES2 midi Controllers

  I have been having problems getting sonar x1 studio to recognise my Korg nanoKONTROLE2 and nanoPAD2. I have read some posts that say I need to update driver and select Audio Device Driver. This work very well, however I cannot access the Korg KONTROL Editor because that doesnt recognise the midi devices, due to not having the korg drivers installed. I use the KORG KONTROL EDITOR to change the pad type, from note, to cc (command change). I need to be able to make this change to use my effect pedals that are in the Amplitude 3 plugin, in essence the pad become my effects pedals turning them on and off while I play my guitar. I do intend to record my guitar playing using Sonar X1, using the Amplitude plugin for my effects pedals. I need to know whether anyone can reconmmend a solution for me please.
