Use laptop mic input for guitar

A bit of a broken foot had me laying about a lot a short while ago. And sleeping alone.

So, late one night, I had a few chords I wanted to get recorded. I used an adapter (stereo splitter) and plugged the guitar into the laptop's mic input.

Another result of the borken foot was the changing of the wiring for a chouple of guitars.

In this case I had split the coils, added a coil selector switch, a series/parallel switch, and a polarity switch for the bridge coil.

I got a great sound: clear, humless, happy. Not the usual direct input guitar sound.
