Session Drummer 3 x64 crashing SONAR 8.5.3 on loading

Just upgraded to a 64bit system (see sig) and am having a problem with Session Drummer 3 x64.  It seems to happen when I add an instance of SD3 after loading some other synths (mainly PLAY3 and Kontakt5), the file crashes SONAR the next time I try to open it.  It tells me that the problem is with Session Drummer 3 x64.  The ONLY workaround I've found is to create a new file and insert an instance of SD3 into it, then minimize that project and open the file I want to work on.  I tried "turning off" the instance of Session Drummer before saving and then was able to open the file next time without crashing... BUT when I "reconnecte" Session Drummer 3, SONAR crashed. I've searched and have not found anyone else having this problem???
 
I have a crash report. My version of SONAR is current (8.5.3.282) I believe.
 
Any ideas or help would be GREATLY appreciated.  Would love to be able to use SD3 in my projects.
