Newbie exporting audio issues!

I finally finished my first audio project using sonar x1 studio, using My Korg M50 as the midi source. I am now trying to export my audio and I try to go to file>export>audio, but the audio option is not available its there but I cant select it. Please help. I dont want to loose these tracks. They are only 3 tracks. Thanks in advanced.

Do you actually have any audio in the project? If the project only has midi data that is driving your external synth's sounds, then there's no audio in your project to export. You would need to feed the output of your external synth into an audio interface on your computer while the midi is playing back in Sonar and record that onto a new audio track.

Thanks for the response, I tried to connect my Korg into a mic for its headphone jack, its able to capture the audio in the audio track but it sounds horrible really muffed and distorted.
