X1 Essential and EZdrummer probs

I have no problem getting audio to record and playback but I get an error message dealing with sample rates when I drag and drop and EZdrummer pattern into an EZdrummer midi channel. It drops in fine but I get the error when I push play. Not sure what's going on. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it.
