PX-64 and drum buses? how to...

Hey

I'm wondering about "best practice" for use of the PX-64 Percussion Strip with buses. However I am a little wondering about where to use the PX-64.
The PX-64 gives a lot of tools to work with (eq, compressor, saturation etc).

I normally set my drums in the following way:

- I set my drums on individual trax (kick, snare, hi-hat etc) and then use a major drum bus for these all drums.
- I use different EQ settings on the kickdrum, snare etc on each track (with ProChannel).
- I use different Compressors for each track (W. ProChannel)

Where would the PX-64 come handy??
- Should I use the PX-64 on the drum bus
- On each drum track (when needed) = risk of more CPU-usage.
- Not at all - use ProChannel?

Any suggestions?

i think they had busses in mind the the percussion strip, but that doesnt mean its limited to just busses, alot of cats on here have uses for it other than percussion, play around see what gives you the best results

the comp on the percussion strip has fixed attack and release times that are program dependant with percussion mixes (quick attack/sharp transients), doesnt mean it wont work with other material
