Can we plz get some feedback from Cakewalk about the copy/paste bug for synth automation??

There's been quite a bit of talk about this topic lately but afaik no one from Cakewalk has chimed in about what many users have confirmed is a bug/problem.  Are they working on it?  Do they know about it?  Will we see a fix soon?  I mean the bug has been there for quite some time.
 
I can't imagine that they are not aware of the problem.  I've filled out a problem report as I'm sure many others have.  One member even created a video of the problem.  I'm honestly finding myself discouraged to work on certain types of productions that I know will be automation heavy b/c I already know the headache that lies ahead.  This has GOT to be addressed.

    Until they do...remember there's a workaround. If instead of using the synth insert option you insert the soft synth into an audio track (i.e., right-click in the FX bin, select soft synth) and create a MIDI track to drive it, the automation acts like it does on standard audio tracks. This was the "old school" way to insert synths with Sonar originally, and it's also the only way I know of where you can access the vocoder in Pentagon I.

    Thanks. Although I hate the "workaround" approach I'll give it a go 'til something is done to fix this issue.
