Faster Than Love-1st song recorded in X1d- a rock waltz

After I got the X1d download, I started fooling around with a 3/4 beat and came up with this.  I would so love your comments and suggestions on this.  I'm not sure what I've got on my hands.  Thanks for taking the time to listen.

It can be found here: http://www.soundclick.com/player/single_player.cfm?songid=11498686&q=hi&newref=1

All the best,
Lynn

    Lynn,
I really like the groove you have going with this.
From where I am listening it does seem a bit mid heavy and not quite enough lower end.
I also feel the guitar may be too in your face at this point.
I will keep watching this thread to see what more experienced ears have to say.
Over all I like what you have started.

I liked the 3/4 beat. and your arrangement. Good instrument combinations. The guitar fits well here and the tone was ok for this. I can't hear lows on my buds,so I can't comment there.

You have a  knack for this sort of thing. The song seems pretty even  with the solo not really changing the general feel of the song.In other words, nothing jumps out at the listener in the chorus volume/dynamics wise. Maybe this is what you wanted to happen. The message of the song came across well!

     Overall a nice song.

Lynn - you always have some real interesting ideas and this is no exception. Listening on lappy, so can't say much mix-wise really. Very reminiscent of Peter Gabriel in places. Vox and fx sound spot on for this. Great job.
