Can't download X1D update...download never starts?

Sorry if this has been ask before but I've been trying to download the X1D update for a few days...when I click on the link it takes ages for a 'save' box to appear and then when I click save or save as it just hangs and does nothing?...is there an FTP or another place the update can be DL'd from?
