Trance/Rythmic Gate w/Z3ta +2

I've been using Reason 6 to create some trance gates. haven't come up with anything awesome or anything with Thor or any of the other synths in Reason yet. But, I've been really enjoying Z3ta lately and I want to create a Trance/Rythmic gate in X1 if possible. I'll be honest. When it comes to the Sonar channel strips and console, I'm lost. I keep wanting to hit the tab key and look at all the routing and see if I can figure it out. Yeah, I know it doesn't work like that. Any suggs would be great. I'd love to hear any music you guys are producing if you care to share! Thanks! Do you Sound Cloud? Jackass Penguin

you can use the fx bin OR look at the console view and bring in the effects to do the same.. OR you can sidechain it.

why not just rewire since it's all 64 bit now :)

Yeah sure, Rewire 64bit! Woo Hoo! How can I rewire a Sonar synth linke Dpro or Z3ta? And what exactly do you suggest I drop into the FX bin to achieve a trance gate effect? Please explain!
