Need some midi help.....

I have a drum track I'm working on using EZdrummer and have the entire backbone of the beat completed. The problem that I have is with my kick drum beat....it's a swing type beat and I need to move every other kick drum hit to fall in with my desired timing. How do I move every other kick beat? I dont know how to highlight every other midi note to make the move. Thanks. Ken

You may wanna try converting the midi pattern to a step sequencer pattern, then they are alot easier to work with, (right click to delete-left click to add) you can also change velocity swing everything within Step sequencer, but before you convert to step seqencer you may wanna split the whole midi file into measures because the step sequencer only allows i think 64 beats a time, if your pattern is longer you will lose everything after 64 beats

     "Ctrl-Clik is your friend."

And this will highlight every other note on the kick drum section?

Not all at once. But it's a solution or if you can find an old CAL file that will do this. Actually it's Shift-Clik. Edited above as well.

Also, use your move tool to highlight and then move the collection with the Shift key still held down.
