Wall Clock Display

This seems so effing stupid, but I CANNOT find it.
I want to time a some MIDI measures. Is there no way to see elapsed (wall clock) time? Not measures. I want to know how much actual real time a section takes.
Like I said: this seems like a really stupid quesiton

    Cant you just change your time to HMS? I think i have mine set to that or is it HBMT? Its one of those, but it displays the time, not measures

    Nope, Sonar can't do it. I've been griping about this for years but it never gets added in. The workaround is to have a blank clip hanging around that you drag and slip edit to the points that you want to know the length of, then go to the clip inspector and see how long it is. Considering that every other DAW has this feature, I'd consider it a huge gaping hole in Sonar's set.

    +100000000000000.  I too have been begging for this for years and even tho my ol pal The Colonel agreed with me on it...it still ain't happenin.  How hard could it possibly be to have a "time of selected area" thingy??  Those of us who are in the commercial broadcast field are dumbfounded by this longstanding omission.  It's almost un-understandable.
