USB Plug and Play on the Android Tablet

Hello [,

Have you connected any external midi controllers to any of the [ Tablets? I have an "Asus Transformer TF101, and I would like to use my M-Audio Axiom Pro 49 with it. I have connected the USB port of my HP Dv7-3085dx Corei7 Windows 7 PC Laptop to the Axiom in Sonar X1 and it syncs right up with no issues, but when I connect it to the Transformer TF101 all I get is the Keyboard just powered up, but does not show that it is connected in the [ taskbar. By the way I am running it with the NVIDIA Tegra 2 ARM CortexA9 processor, with a 32gb hard drive and the attached "keyboard docking station" which comes with 2 USB ports, mini HDMI ports, and a microphone in / audio speaker out port. I have contacted Asus about whether they have USB host support for the TF101, but haven't heard anything positive at this point. I have read that it should have it. Any way to get this to be a "USB play and play" method between the Axiom Pro 49 and the Asus Transformer TF101, do you have any thoughts? Any input even if I have to get a third-party xda-developer to write a personal code just for the USB port would be appreciated. Thank you

Okay since everybody looked and viewed, but did not leave any replies; I am not going to "hate". I don't get it when I post inquiries about topics people don't chirp in to give solutions. If you don't give a little, you won't get anything. But like I said before I am not here to "hate" on anybody. If you know something you should speak up!!!

P.S. I did find a little info - If you are trying to run an external keyboard with an Android tablet, this is the place to start. It may not be the best, but like I said it is a start. In the "Google Play" + "Android Market" there is an app called, "Opus #1 Pro". The free app does not have the features needed, but you can download the "Trial version of Opus #1 Pro" to try it out on your tablet. I download the trial and connected my M-Audio Axiom Pro to the tablet via USB. As soon as I turned on the power button on the Axiom the "Asus TF101" picked it right up, recognized it and synced right up. I didn't select to use the device as the main, but it worked right out of the download, "No Rooting Needed". That was what I have been wasting the better part of "forum" inquiries about just trying to get a heads up on how to get this part of USB plug and play on an Android Tablet. I have the iOS CoreMidi Irig setup also. In comparison there is some delay between both of th OS's but a start in the right direction is better than nothing at all. Happy hunting. :)
