USB Plug and Play External Midi Keyboard Controller on Android Tablet
Hello All,
Have any of you ever connected any external midi controllers to any of the Android Tablets? I have an "Asus Transformer TF101, and I would like to use my M-Audio Axiom Pro 49 with it. I have connected the USB port of my HP Dv7-3085dx Corei7 Windows 7 PC Laptop to the Axiom in Sonar X1 and it syncs right up with no issues, but when I connect it to the Transformer TF101 all I get is the Keyboard just powered up, but does not show that it is connected in the [ taskbar. By the way I am running it with the NVIDIA Tegra 2 ARM CortexA9 processor, with a 32gb hard drive and the attached "keyboard docking station" which comes with 2 USB ports, mini HDMI ports, and a microphone in / audio speaker out port. I have contacted Asus about whether they have USB host support for the TF101, but haven't heard anything positive at this point. I have read that it should have it. Any way to get this to be a "USB play and play" method between the Axiom Pro 49 and the Asus Transformer TF101, do you have any thoughts? I basically would like to use just midi input from the Axiom into the Asus for a mobile solution. I have my Dv7 - Corei7 17' laptop for any serious DAW work in Sonar. Any input even if I have to get a third-party xda-developer to write a personal code just for the USB port would be appreciated. Thank you
