These are two fantastic songs and videos, some of the best I've seen  here.  Your voice and vocal arrangements are at a very high level.  Your overall production is first class with two small caveats.  In both songs, the lead vocal was too low for me to easily understand your lyrics.  If you're proud of your lyrics, let's hear them.  Secondly, there was a huge difference in volume between the two songs.  I realize they are two totally different styles of music, yet I believe that they can be balanced.  Are you by chance using Vegas?  Both your songs and videos are very creative, and I would buy this music in a heartbeat.

    All the best,

I watched and listened to Little White Lies...wow. Absolutely top notch stuff. Your vocal delivery is astonishing, and the way the track builds to a crescendo is stunning, worthy of something from Les Miserables.

One of the handful of songs I've heard here over the years that I thought could be a 'hit'..whatever that means nowadays.

Listening to the first song now. Very nice. I'm not a fan of videos but it was done well.

    ....................

Listening to the second song now. Piano is superb, IMO. Drums are right on. Vocals are great. Oh heck, excellent all around.

bibs, wonderful production and song.  Little White Lies is great.  Agree that lead voc should come up.  It has wonderful feeling.

Fight the World - love the drum sound.  Mix is spot on - just a little low on the vocals. I really like song.  Acoustic on the right is soft.  Bass is tight.    You really wrote an anthem here!  Small note, seems a little light on upper mids and highs?  This could be tweeked when mastering.

    Great job.

I can not tell if it is the video codec and just the voice is soft anyway, but the entire music seems muffled. May be that people copy stuff off there or wherever they can. If that is the case then I think I put up a version on some music place and try and sell it that way where only if they buy it they can download it or whatever happens that way.

Again ,thanks very much everyone. My friend and co-writer is the singer. Interestingly enough Bapu/Rimshot, these were mixed before i got the IK ARC system and with that now engaged, i realise how harsh the upper mids/treble were in my monitoring environment, (which is pretty much an untreated room) no wonder everything had a slightly muffled edge after mixing. Was always tuning frequencies to stop my ears bleeding!
Now i have to learn about EQ properly as its much closer to the truth in sound now, hopefully that means my mixes will have more sparkle and vocal presence.
    Cheers

Excellent. Especially liked the 'fight the world'.
And, especially how clear the kik was in the mix. How'd you do that?

Great job! I can't seriously find anything to pick at. Loved the dynamics and arrangements of both songs! I'm not much of a video person either, but the videos were well done I thought.

Thanks a lot :) Im sorry, i really dont know about the kik exactly, I just twiddle knobs until it sounds ok. I had some sidechain compression on the bass/kik , which helped, not sure if thats the thing to do for that particular style of music though. High pass filter on everything apart from bass and kick and then eq'ed them both a bit differently. Thats as far as my mixing skills go i'm afraid, but im learning daily, like most of us.
    Cheers
