Midi drum files not loading properly

Looking for a fix,(using X1d Expanded) Any midi drum file pulled from from the browser, or from EZ drummer acts like loading a whole midi file. It adds all the tracks. Before the X1d patch it would load only the midi loop and I could drag it into the vsti midi track I was working on. ( EZ drummer files work properly) I was suspecting I had not associated the file properly when installing the update but I have had no luck fixing. Any Ideas? Thanks
