    100001 ways to do it

have you looked at dub siren for starters? thats a famous one and you can use the fx

    l

    and twin delay ?

then of course theres is the TAL stuff, which you might find of use

OR you could  just put 2 delays on the audio and the 2nd 1, you set at double the seconds / ratio

+1 fog. One of the subtle differences between the dub greats is that they used slightly different approaches to achieve similar ends. Lee "Scratch" Perry supposedly did bizarre things like blow ganja smoke on his master tapes and literally kicked spring reverbs while recording for that BIG distorted springy sound. interrupter is probably the easiest approach. personally, i just make sends like shown here: http://www.cakewalk.com/C...ONARU.aspx/Get-Started with a big ass delay and a cavernous springy type rever and bring them and adjust the send level as needed.

you cant return aux sends to channel inputs.
so the workaround is either do it with hardware (like the picture) or use the "feedback" knob on every single delay program ever made.
then automate that send level from Sonar X1.

Short, sweet and to the point.  Superb.
