Thanks James... I played the midi horns thru an old Yamaha M-100R...  I'd really love to hear Tony sing this...

Love your tunes.

Actually I try and post constructive criticism or else I am use to old mixes of music or perhaps the speakers in the case are different. I thought the background horns could have been louder in the mix. Otherwise everything else is clear and comes out great.

Frank,
This sounds really sweet.  I'm hearing some proximity effect on the Alto Sax in the lower register.  Outside of that this really shines.

Thanks for sharing.

Hi Frank,

Sounds amazing, man!  Your vocal sounds great and I love the horns and the interplay between the guitar and sax.  Definitely has that "Tanton" sound

Great crisp production as ever Frank. To what degree do you do this in Sonar ? I'm sure I asked you this before about one of your others, but don't re-call the answer. Doesn't matter at all really, just curious. I was getting a kind of 80's US Sitcom vibe from the music at times, especially the beginning - "Moonlighting" kind of thing.

Great bass playing, and the electric piano sounds fantastic. The mix changes are really working, I'm loving this now. And I've been known to Schwing forward too.

All you need is love, just ask the Beatles?

Hey, Frank,

I'm late to the party here, but this is absolutely awesome, buddy!

Amazing instrumental performances, dynamite vocals, as always, and super tasty guitar playing with terrific tone. Man, that sax is really stellar sounding and icing on the cake for this totally pro sounding mix.

Phenomenal stuff, Frank, have a good one!

Thanks Paulo... I produced entirely in Sonar 8.5... I have X-1 but have not used it... Thanks for listening...

Thanks Robby... I used my old Roland XP-60 for the EP and the (new) Brass Section arrangement...

Thanks Bob... I'm a fan of your music too... your productions are always outstanding...

If you have been posting songs at the same rate as when I left, then I would have to say you are the most prolific musician/artist I know. I am somewhat in awe of the ability to stay so focused.

I wrote all that because, well... I got nothing to say about the mix other than wow. And the song is just killer.

Cheers

Terrific stuff Frank.

Love the horns, what are you using?

Vocals sound real natural and fresh, like the subject matter.
I re-recorded the background horn arrangement using my old Roland XP-60-Expanded...  also remixed the Vocals...
Thanks for listening...

Lush sweet and cool.

Top Shelf ... but ...

the vox-echos, while great, remind me that this might could stand counter vox harmonies (other vocs, backing vocs, and/or counters)
(You know ... like "Spring forward" by a bass-vox or female, instead of the in-the-box echo)  (Another example would be a 3-D blue-grass hymn ... where vox counters are everywhere)

... JMO/IMHO

AWESOME as always!
