Hi Ho, Hi Ho
Hi ho its off to work I go, christ I run off my feet, 5:30 get up, catch the bus at 7:15 for an 8 oclock strart but this could be a way of getting my mastering business going and they really wanted to give me a go. Even when I said I couldn't work because I couldn't afford the kit they we're trying to find ways to help. Christ I haven't worked since 2008, can I do it, yes he can,no thats bob the builder. I've got 15 minutes to shower and walk to my bus, no time for the paper or anything else. Ah I long for the simple day's. Neb

Ben, hope it went well. Remember to take one step at a time and try not to overwhelm anyone on your first day. As Casey Kasem said, "Keep your feet on the ground and keep reaching for the stars". Hey, I finally got to use that saying! Rimshot

Well guys unfortunatly it went pretty badly, the gig was badly organised, I got there on time and worked hard, I really did. Firstly we had too much crew, so 4 of us got sent home at 11:30 and this included me, I have two huge blisters on my toes and basicly we we're there as pack mules. I've no problem with this but, it was the way it was all handled. I brought a pair of 40 dollar steal cap boots, not eveyone had steal cap boot's so I could have brought cheaper ones but I am a stickler and when it says steal cap boot's I went ok follow the rules. So I got paid 60 bucks and only made 20 because of the boots outlay and, I was rosterd on for the late shift but I can't walk the blisters on my toes are so bad, so I am unlikely to get more work, that's even if there is much more work because a there is not a lot touring bands at the moment. Two steps forward, one step back. But here is a picture of Lenny Kravits guitars:

And so you know I am not ****ting about the blister, here is a pick, when I got back to town I had to take them off to walk home. On the plus side I found a new place to live, on the downside all my stuff is in Launceston and I will be sleeping on the floor of my new digs with no blanket or bed.

Now I've got to start writing a business plan. Man I am tired, my Landlady or ex is dropping hints she has left the vac outside the door intimating I should vac the floor. Sheesh

When we would get new boots in the military, we would soak them in water and wear 'em to break them in fast. Kinda helped prevent the blisters. Ohhh the memories
