Teds_Studio iLOK....that word turns me off immediately. Same here!,I really appreciate, being able to buy,and use virtually right away. Just the iLok dongle costs 59.99 AUD,in Australia, thats more than $60 US,no way around it..........not for me ever,if I can help it.

i installed this the other day after putting it off for a while. took 50 minutes because of ilok troubles. ilok.com has been working on compatibility issues with firefox 4 and 5 for over a year. we are now on FF11. IE8 doesnt work either in recognizing the hardware. they are pretty much done now that waves has ditched them.

Right now you have to use Internet Explorer 32 bit.... That is the only browser that I've found will work with the Ilok... Once I determined that....after an hour or so of trying everything (and every other browser) it's worked flawlessly..... not that I support the Ilok....luckily I got mine for $40 bucks... If I had had the money I would have bought it the RC-Tube Slate VCC Plugin which is $49 without or $69 with.....that's almost like getting RC-Tube for free...which is a good plug... Either way....not an Ilok fan...but a lot of the plugs I use require it...so I have one....

The PACE website has always been notorious about the browser used to access it and have it detect your iLok. My workaround, as none of my browsers installed worked (IE9, Chrome (latest) or Firefox 9, was to go out to http://portableapps.com/news/2011-11-10_-_firefox_portable_3.6.24_released and get the portable version o Firefox 3.6 and run it as needed to transer iLok licences to my fob. It's been this way for awhile now.

I wonder how many people ignore that green box on the top of their Manage Licenses tab?

bapu I wonder how many people ignore that green box on the top of their Manage Licenses tab? Goes to show you how long PACE has been aware (and supposedly working on a resolution - please!!! Yah right!). Firefox 4 and 5 (how old are they now)? While I have very little issue with iLok in the general idea of using it, they are very lacking in the, right on that, type of support you'd expect from a vendor.

everyone sees that box. i checked my email and it was march 2011 when FF4 was released and I emailed them about my connectivity problems. Fortunately I solved the problem myself with no solution from them. the fact is we are now on FF ELEVEN and they have still made no progress. Also 'another supported browser'????

I installed it, copied the auth to my iLok, ran the VST scan and, although the scan found it (on the 3rd try) and I was able to add it to my "favorite plugins" plug-in menu layout, it's not there when I try to invoke it via the FX bin. Any thoughts on what might be causing this? Thanks.

The pain of dealing with iLok is well-known, but has no one brought up the code scam? You know, where everyone gets a unique code and is encourage to spam the internet with it in hopes of winning a contest? That itself is enough to sour me on SoundToys for a year or two.

benjamin - try moving the .dll out of the soundtoys folder it is currently in and straight into the vstplugins folder. I forgot to mention I had to do a couple of reinstalls and finally figured out moving it was the only way sonar was able to properly recognize it.

It's already in the Cakewalk vstplugins folder. I pointed it there during the install. Any other thoughts as to what it might be?

Nevermind. Uninstalled it. Ran vst scan so it no longer saw it. Reinstalled it. Reran vst scan and it's now available from the FX bin.
