Odd PC2A T-Type behavior.

Downloaded and installed the PC2A T-Type module. All went well, I'm happy with how it sounds so far. I opened up some old projects and was throwing it on some tracks. Oh my. I 'think' I could get this sound with Sonitus, but not as easily, so in my opinion it was well worth the 40 bucks.
Odd thing happening with the PC2A T-Type module though ... when I create a new project (I use the default that comes with Sonar) it add's the 1st audio track, then 1 midi. The PC looks normal with the Comp, EQ, and Sat modules on the audio track. But when I go to manually add an audio track the Pro Channel is blank. It's all gray and no modules are in the PC strip. I verified the PC was empty by right clicking on it and a list of all the modules came up as available to be added.

Normally when I add an audio track the Pro Channel has the Comp, Eq, and Sat modules, in that order, loaded.

This never happened until I installed the PC2A T-Type module. Is this intended behavior or just something that went kaboom when I installed it?

Another thing I noticed is ... when you right click on the controls, you can't revert to your previous setting like you can with all the other PC modules. I miss that because it's such a small area it's really easy to over do an adjustment with a mouse and all I have to do on the other modules is right click and revert.

I have the PC2a and I agree - good purchase, maybe I would up that and great purchase comparative $$ to the other offerings out there.

I just tested per your steps - PC shows up fine in the newly added tracks. You may have a corrupt file causing you grief. I'm running X1 stock (no mods) on Vista64, Q9550.

This appears to be an issue you are having that at least for me, is not happening if I follow your exact steps.  I'm getting the fully loaded ProChannel strip with new audio tracks in new projects using the default template.  Could this go back to your Saturation Knob troubles - it does indeed sound as if something in your install is corrupt, missing, or something as this is the second unique problem.  I do hope you can determine the culprit.

This is indeed the case - and your right, this was a very nice feature in the other modules that I see no reason for it not to be carried forward into this one.  I had not even noticed it missing until you pointed it out - thanks for the heads up.

Bub, I'm not sure what happened with PC modules not loading with a new audio track, but you can load modules the way you want, then right-click in a blank space in the PC and choose "Set Modules as Default for Tracks." Then every time you add an audio track those modules should be there in PC. Of course, you may already know that and were just pointing out the weirdness post-PC2a install.
