Newbie, What am I doing wrong

I am trying to record a song that I have written, I can record the entire song, time line showing everything fine, once I hit spacebar or stop, I lose all data from 99 on.  I'm lost and stupid.  Please help.
I am using Sonar X1 LE.

    Welcome to the forum!

    You mean measure 99?
Maybe you have punch record activated?

SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.

I looked at that under the recording option and it is not checked.

    Welcome to the forum.
I can't say why this is happening, but you're doing nothing wrong.
Try the Punch-in recording. Set it to begin recording at say , measure 2 and to end recording at a measure beyond the song's length.
Go to Options above the track pane and set it to Stop At Project End. Then drag a MIDI Groove Clip into the project in a MIDI track. Grab the right side of the groove clip and drag it out beyond the Punch-in stop time.
Theoretically, the track will record until the end of the punch time and stop at the end of the groove clip, so you don't have to click stop or hit the space bar.
This is just an experimental work-around to see what happens. You shouldn't have to do this every time.
    Have you contacted Cakewalk Support?

Go to measure 100 and try recording from there.
