Do you guys save and collect everything that's Sonar X1 related?
Being a video game collector, I happen to also save and collect everything that's Sonar X1 related. I have bookmarks and also folders, say "Sonar X1" and dragging whatever page about X1 that's on the Cakewalk site into it and then another folder, "X1 articles" for any magazine articles, including reviews on X1. This works great for referencing X1. And hopefully when X2 or whatever they call it is released, I can still read up on X1 years to come when those pages are no longer displayed on their site. And of course, I still have to order myself that X1 coffee mug and that, "Got Expanded?" t-shirt.

I could do that or I could enjoy being alive and not waste my time. But seriously, I do copy and paste a few things into wordpad - good tips or problems etc.

I store Sonar supplemental docs in the cloud, such as tips I got from this board, posts by authorities on subjects (such as Jim on building DAWs). The trick for me is to not over-collect, and have tons of docs that I'll never reference. As the OP mentioned, there will be a successor to X1 one day, so I don't want to over-invest in quickly expiring knowledge sets. Things like how to use FX or routing never go out of style, and apply no matter which software or version you are running.

I do have a collection of Bookmarks and Documents related to Sonar. I print articles I find through CutePDF Writer to store them in PDF format, but that's about it.

I try to have as much information about Sonar as I can lay my hands on. I keep notebooks for that purpose.

I am a fan of FBB and have a room set up as a shrine to pay homage to him for all the times he has unknowingly bailed me out! I'm currently ingesting coffee in his honor...cheers! ....I do have this Cakewalk folder and it may soon need its own hard drive!
