New laptop: track view not following...

 Really bizarre: bought a new laptop, Dell 14R, runs Sonar X1 beautifully, except that the track view when playing or recording moves for a split second and then freezes. No, it's NOT the Scroll Lock thing, I already tried it. Besides, the meters work fine, without freezing. Any ideas? All the drivers are the latest... R

    Doe sthe audio stop and/or does it stop recording? Do you get a drop out? What sound card are you usijng with thte laptop? Do you have a 7200RPM hard dirve for your audio?
    What about your video card drivers

    Figured it out: turns out it's the damn MBox ASIO driver... with MME it's fine, with ASIO4ALL and the built in sound it's fine.... so bizarre.... And yes CJ, it did stop and start recording fine, but even with just 1 track recording and nothing playing the track view would stop updating. Meters were moving, but everything else is frozen... R
