Thanks to everybody for your feedback here. It is great to hear honest no holds bared impressions. UB- Thanks man... Btw your avatar is killing me! LOL Kev- I will check that out. Shad- I am sure you be hearing from me... Yeah I am pretty sure I am workin in CSS with dreamweaver to build the site. Some things are driving me crazy that I can't figure out how to make it do what I want. I'm sure I'll PM you tomorrow after work. Rain- thanks bro. Yep, it can be a pain in the butt at times. Old55- I hear ya on the phone thing.... but the reality is that Between the biz cell, house phone, biz, phone, then emails all coming from personal, my lawn/landscape biz, the band's site, and now this it's a lot to keep under control. When/if it starts getting off the ground I may just sell my other business and that would surely simplify things! Thanks for the compliment on the logo/ sound clips bud.

Mike- That is very cool of you to do. I am not sure why everything is so big in my site right now... I will be in touch if I can't get that straightened out. Your version just looks smaller, & neater! Guitarhacker- I'll reword some of that. As for the rate I do understand. but I really feel I need to get a few more projects under my belt. I need some better mics and I need to figure out what kind of average times I will run per 3-4 minute song... I have done my own stuff and a few small 1-2 song things for friends and I have never logged the time spent. I have not yet had a band that wasn't mine come in and start laying down tracks, different styles, etc. I am not trying to under cut anyone but you've seen my gear list and the photos. This is what I have to offer. Also... in the 70's people couldn't just by the gear inexpensively and there was no internet for them to turn to to learn how to use it even if they did. They had to find someone local to record them. Now som many go DIY... like me?

They are all free tools within wix. Check out some of the videos they have that teach you how to do it. Alot of info in there to help. To answer your question, Id create as many pages as you need and get them labeled and linked with buttons. Once thats done - Click anywhere on the page and then go to the menus on the side and you can add whatever you want, Id jump around and play with the videos for a bit and go from there. I luv Kevs site and that inspired me to work on mine and BEST OF ALL-ITS FREE woohoo cant beat it

For pics I just used Ping PNG files instead of JPEGS, they turn out much clearer and is all done from Paint on my computer

Chuck what I am proposing is that you consider accepting a .zip file from me. You can pop it in your website and then rename the page to index and use it as template for your whole site. I basically just did the first step I do for every site I make. Once you have a basic format with a table etc. then you can do just about anything. Honestly, I just did it while watching a movie, I hadn't built a site in while and I felt the urge to refresh my skills and I thought "how fast can I make this happen"... it was like a personal mini contest. I like to do it in a text editor so I can just focus on clean code and page layout structure. I usually flesh things out a whole bunch more for the few clients I have... but I don't do this as my primary job so I just did enough to give you a good head start. I'm not looking for work. :-) If you do want to go with this you will have full access to the .css I prepared and you can make any and all changes to the font choice, style, color, size, etc. Here's the .css http://www.harmoniccycle....room/css/stormroom.css I'm not trying to force this on you but I sort of think of you as my South West Fla punk rock bro and I really just want to help out if I can. All you guys that aren't punk rockers from South West Fla are safe... I'm not gonna try to help you!!! But, honestly, I was also motivated by the selfish need to write up some code to stay in practice. :-) I code pages in an older 1-1/2 gen cyb-punk style that is very simple and clean and which tries to avoid anything that isn't self explanatory. http://www.harmoniccycle....roomstudios-MQ2012.htm At the very least please let me urge you to inspect the code of the web page and the .css so that you can get some suggestions for how to implement tables, and nested tables in your page. It is the stuff that is obvious in the code but invisible on the actual web page that I am trying to help you with. All that stuff happens behind the scenes, so to speak, so you'll have to look at the source code to appreciate it. The thing I am trying to help you with is building a solid foundation so that you may make a nice solid website. Nice Mike!!! Wish I new that kinda stuff. Im not that into it yet but out of curiosity, what do you charge set up something like this in case in the future, I do get the urge to really push stuff out there in a PRO kinda way?

Hi Mike, FWIW, you, or anyone can take the same template and customize it for yourself. A clever boy will see that it can all be downloaded right now. :-) That's the virtue of the simplified htm coding that I practice. I don't have an answer for your question because I really don't want to commit to any new web clients. I used to do small, discrete, business card sites like Chuck is building for a flat fee of $500, but that was only for friends. We charge the corporations, that can easily afford it, the full rate $80-$120/hr. For the past few years my interest has gravitated towards working on sites for local volunteer organizations, pro bono, while merely performing ongoing maintenance for my paying web customers. The truth is I don't really enjoy making websites... but I especially enjoy helping people empower themselves and their small businesses. Mike that is very cool of you bro. I downloaded and saved it. I will need help though for sure. Because within dreamweaver I can look at code/design or a split with both.... I know Squat about the code and do everything from the design side (and know little about that either!) . That css file when I clicked the link brought up dream weaver and showed the code (I then saved it) but will not show the design side. Again.... your code looks neater, shorter but beyond that it may as well be chinese to me... I will be working on it later on tonight. I am of to dinner. It's my little girls Birthday today!

I can send you a zip file with the directory structure and you can open that in Dreamweaver and it will work great in Dreamweaver. I used the split view most of the time myself.

I get by with a little help from my friends..... Thanks Mike! I think you guys will find it a good bit more appealing now though I am not sure the 12 pt font is quite large enough. It does look much better though!

Much better and when you also look at the code and see that the color (FF, FF, FF)(Red, Blue, Green - whatever order it is in) is white, then perhaps you will try even to try and get if you want a parchment type color which is slightly brownish if needed. Hex is 0 to 15, with A=10, B=11, C=12, D=13, E=14, F=15, then starts over at decimal 16 which in Hex becomes 10. 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 1A, 1B, 1C, 1D, 1E, 1F and 1F in decimal base 10 becomes 31 in Hex base 16 numbers. Well, up to you if so needed. And anyway Windows has options for the sight impaired and all of that in Windows already.

I was just mentioning background color because I thought before it was different, but web programs can do it (to make a website) easier probably anyway. If you look at your code, you will probably see something like "background color"= FF, FF, FF (which is white) or something similiar to that. To change the color change the values there (but a lot of times they are in Hexademical numbering system). FF = 255 decimal like we usually count in base 10. Not important that much anyway.
