Assign Master to fader in "Generic Control Surface"
Anyone know how to do this? I finaly got the promix to work by mapping all the faders out. Now I have 3 faders left, numbered 17,18,19 that I want to use for 17-metronome fader, 18-effects volume fader, 19-Master fader. How do I do this in X1?

Wow, no one? Somebody has to have done this before? All I want to do is assign a fader on my control surface to a master buss fader in sonar.

Allot of time, you need to configure your control surface somehow someway to go over to the bus pain. Sometimes its a shift key or some other key function on you control surface.
Digi, maybe ask the forum for the pro mix, if it has one. I'm sure you can get an answer fast over there.

thanks CJ, Ill google and see if there is a promix forum somewhere. I have fouund out that there is a studioware panel for it, just have to load the panels into x1

Oh well, I guess I'm just gonna give up on this idea. Cant get the master fader to work in any setup, unless I learn it on every project. Studioware panels dont do anything at all.

Right click the fader in the consul, select learn, wiggle your fader of choice.
Oh yes one other thing you will have to do this every time you start SONAR. Seems to be something that has been overlooked since ACT was introduced.
