Yes its a song demo, not a 'production'
I am nervous to be honest, yes.
There is a reason. A few people on here know why. It changed me a lot and I have got too perfectionist about my album project. All my friends here are so open that I feel I needed to change tactics.
Soooo... I am now reconnecting with some friends of mine, writing songs outside of my usual genre, and today had an epiphany of sorts.
My good friend Janette, a professional singer, came to my house to hear a song I had written which I thought she would sing wonderfully. We sat in my garden in the most glorious sunshine, and I decided there and then to set up my Sonar X1 mobile rig in 5 minutes and just record what happened.
It was magic.
So I opened a SoundCloud account and put it up there tonight. I am interested in how to develop a song like this as my own stuff is very Pink Floyd / progressive type of material.
I think I may have found a new direction.
Today, music became beautiful again and not something to fight.
I have a feeling more will come now much more quickly.
