Uarses

This is a heartfelt plea to the people of the Coffee House.
In the great words of Sir Billy Joel, Don't Go Changing.

Every so often, cells will die off and be replaced with new versions.  It's all very normal, and no one really pays much attention to it.  Mine have a tendancy to change all at once, however.  They also get tired of just "replacing" the old version, so they like to innovate.

This might explain what happened.  I was minding my own business this weekend, changing the cooking oil in my time machine/deep fryer, when my cells revolted.  There was some confusion at first.  Did I really need an extra hand there, or was that going to be a second pancreas?  Should the face be internal (just thinking of the children...)?

I seeped into the next room and caught a glimpse of my reflection.  My reflection immediately dropped into a coma.  It's a common defensive mechansim employed by my reflections.  To my surprise, I realized that my cells had reformed me into a gelatinous ooze.

While this posed some obvious issues, there was obviously an upside.  I could probably get a few days off of work for this.  I made a rather fluid mental note to find out if anyone was making another Blob remake.

Sure, there were some tense moments where I was chased around the house with a wet-vac.  I heard some yelling about leaving a slime trail on the carpet.  Things were going well until I was backed into a corner.  A part of my ear, tongue, liver, or whatever it was seeped into an electrical outlet in the wall.

As the smoke rose from my prone form, I realized that my cells had rebooted and were back in their former shape and relative function.  I had to clean up the mess, of course.

As I pondered the changes I had seen, it occurred to me that maybe all of this constant change I see around me isn't really change.  Perhaps, it's really entropy...

Anyway, I've got to go blow my other nose.  BRB...

I bet this has something to do with the type of oil you're using....
Do you use Canola or Peanut oil?

I was out of Bapu Hair Oil.  I tried to work with Moob Sweat.

    I do not recommend it.

I'm still waiting for the mushroom cloud to dissipate.
