Deleting Automation information on a track..

Hi all.  When I turn on "Automation write" on a track and put a few Volume changes in, then try and delete the info.. I can't seem to erase it.  Even when you wash the whole track it remains.  How's this done properly?  Thx ; )

Deselect "Write" first. Then you can use the edit filter set to the automation you wish to delete, right click and select delete envelope.

If you want to delete automation "en masse" select the track and then select Edit-->Delete from the right click menu or Main menu-->Edit. You'll need to deselect "Events in tracks" if you want to keep the data.

I usually go to the automation mode and then right click the envelope.... the drop down window includes DELETE ENVELOPE

The way I work I never use write automation to do envelopes. I choose to manually add the envelope and drop in nodes where I need them.
