Feature Request - Dock Pro Channel modules at the top
Can someone point me in the right direction for submitting a feature request? I would like the option in the Pro Channel to dock the modules to the top, not the bottom. When I have just the EQ, for example, I would much rather it be at the top of the PC than anchored at the bottom. I'm running at a high resolution (2560x1440), and that may be why it would be more convenient. thanks,

You can place a module anywhere.

At the top of this page, click on "Support" then "Contact Support" ... you'll see a link for "Feature Request". I'm assuming you're talking about the position of the PC modules when they're collapsed?

Groovey what are you saying? By grabbing the title bar of a module it can be moved up or down. One can have a default setup for PC too.

John You can place a module anywhere. John, I think he is referring to the actual position on the screen - if only the EQ module is in ProChannel, it anchors itself towards the bottom of the display - I'm assuming he is referring to this behavior. He wishes to have it default to anchoring at the top of the display.

You may be right Jind. If that is the case than use other modules to push it to the top. They don't have to be on.

John Groovey what are you saying? By grabbing the title bar of a module it can be moved up or down. One can have a default setup for PC too. If I understand the OP correctly I think he means position within the PC. If you have just the EQ in the PC it will anchor at the bottom. I think he'd like the option of it anchoring at the top, or perhaps I've misunderstood, it has been known.

Yes I get that FBB. Did you see the post above yours? There is no advantage in removing a non- processing module if one has the room. It could serve as a place holder.

I think you are over thinking it John - he just wants the option that if he is using a single module for it to defaut to the top of the display. He does not want other modules visible to act as push up's of sorts. He just wants one module showing and to have the option of forcing it to the top of the ProChannel display. It's a simple visual thing.

Hmm ... well I guess we'll have to wait for clarification from the OP. What I meant is the "unused space" in the PC is in the top portion, I was thinking he wanted the option of having the modules there instead. My comment was coming from my perspective as a laptop user -- I frequently collapse modules so I can see them all without scrolling. But considering the display resolution smallstonefan mentions, he's not going to have that problem.

My above post is what I interpret the request as - I very well could be wrong.

I guess I am not making myself clear. I understand what the OP is asking after Jind clarified it. My postings are a way to do that now. That does not mean the OP can't also enter a feature request. But until CW is able and willing to act on the request I offer it as a work around. To my knowledge it can't be done any other way at present.

Jind is 100% correct - sorry if I wasn't clear. I was using other modules to push the EQ up as John suggested, and when I started creating new buses I found I had to scroll way past all the PC module options in the shortcut menu. I think they are in the list for side chaining options. The cleanest option would simply be to have the modules default to docking at the top of the PC, not the bottom as they are now. thanks guys,
