Delay in X1 response

Hi All

Just started a new project last night and I hit a problem.  I armed the track for recording except it took 4-5 seconds for the track to arm.  So I try to disarm the track and it takes another 4-5 seconds to disarm.  It's like X1 hangs for a couple of seconds.  It's the same for other commands although it is a hit and miss thing as sometimes the track arms/disarms right away.  The same thing will happens when I try to record.  I will start the recording by hitting "R" and it will take 4-5 seconds to actually start recording.  I just installed X1C patch as well as updating the universal control for my Firestudio Tube to 1.5.3.1.  Has anyone else run into this kind of thing?  Should I try to uninstall and reinstall?

Thanks in advance

I see you are sorted but it seems to a driver issue with some drivers. The latest ZED-R16 drivers produced exactly the same symptoms for me, cured by rolling back to the old driver. Others have had issues with other interfaces

I've had this happen out of the blue without updating drivers. Although, I did resolve it by messing with my soundcard drivers. And if I recall, my fix did not help on another person's system running the same sound card as I am. I'm running a Fast Track Ultra. He eventually got rid of his FTU and went with something else.

It may be driver related, but I'd be more inclined to believe it's something on Sonar's end do to the fact that it's happening on more than one manufacturer's sound card.
