Mute button bug or not? No sound during playback on track 1.

Hi, just thought I'd share something with everyone. Sorry if someone has already done this. A couple of weeks ago I created a new project in Sonar Producer X1 Expanded using the 'normal' template. I recorded an audio track on track 1. I then recorded 2 more audio tracks on track 2 and track 3. So far all fine. I then wanted to playback the recordings. I was able to hear track 2 and track 3 but no matter what I did I couldn't hear track 1. This was strange as all the I/O settings were identical as the other 2 tracks. Track was behaving just as if the 'mute' button had been activated but I made sure that the 'mute' was set to off..still no luck. After much checking of all settings (which made no difference) I came across the 'strip view'. In here I found a drop down menu that showed the status of all tracks and yes it could be seen that track 1 was muted even though in the track itself the mute was clearly off. Toggling it on and off made no difference. In the end I right clicked the mute button on track 1 and chose the automate mute option. I then disabled the automate option and now the mute button is working as expected. I can switch it on and off and it works as it should and I can (finally after 2 weeks) hear track 1. I just thought I'd mention it as I raised a ticket with support ad got no response and it took me nearly 2 weeks to fix (which I did kind of by luck). Has anyone else seen this? Could it be a bug? C
