Well, I suspect the timing of this ad.... I got it too.... has more to do with the date than reality....
However, there is an inventor working on a similar power source. He said it would be about 5 years before it was ready for the market. It is a small cube looking thing that has the ability to provide clean power to a small house, and runs for years before needing servicing....
I do not recall the specific details..... it could be something like a hydrogen cell source.... nothing radio active, solar, or wind powered. Some sort of chemical reaction that continues for years per charge, and puts out lots of electricity in the meantime.
Then you really have to wonder if this will ever make it to market, assuming is really works..... lots of money would be lost and the entire power industry would change as a result of something like this.....
