I assume Bapu will be standing up and shouting 'it should have been me!'..?

Oh - I've planned for this all ready. I am giving him reading material at an 8th grade level during the ceremony. There will be so many words in that paragraph that he will need to sound out that by the time he gets done reading the party will have begun. 


And while I dint really need him there for the ceremony. We do need someone to make fun if during the reception.

Is it true that Bapu will be outfitted with a pair of Depends, some wings, a bow and suction-cupped arrows, and then will swing on a wire above the stage during the ceremony?

Theatrics like that may affect your attendance.

I was worrying about that too. Maybe best to let him run around the dance floor and do knee slides for a bit..burn off some energy? Then again, don't want him getting over-tired..
