Why does...
Bottled water have an expiration date?
Some people call me Maurice SPLAT Pro lifetime, ADK 6 core 3.6Ghz with 32 GB RAM, SSD 1TB system drive, 3 3TB regular drives for samples, recordings and misc. Behringer X Touch, UAD Apollo Quad. 2 UAD2 Quads PCI (i think - inside the box whatever that is), Console 1. More guitars (40??) and synths (hard and soft) than talent. Zendrum!!!

space_cowboy Bottled water have an expiration date? To ensure you buy the new stuff every few years. It goes a bit soggy after that. Plus you're not buying the water you are just buying a license to keep it captive for a certain period. Besides I prefer just diluting the powdered version freshly as I need it.

Because after about six months, so many chemical toxins have leached out of the plastic into the water, that the water can now safely be used in a nuclear reactor to control the reaction. It is now called "Polywater". Apparently it works better than carbon rods and heavy water. If that aint crackered, nothing is.

The story I heard was because it's easier to make up a date than it is to prove it doesn't go bad.
In order, then, to discover the limit of deepest tones, it is necessary not only to produce very violent agitations in the air but to give these the form of simple pendular vibrations. - Hermann von Helmholtz, predicting the role of the electric bassist in 1877.

I havent bought bottled water since I seen the investigation on Dateline or something similar awhile ago. Bottled water tends to be much worse than what the city provides and bacteria grows fast in the bottles so after sitting on the shelf for awhile cant be good. Course ya dont know what your getting from the city either so I put on a House filter and additional ones on the fridge and faucet on the sink I did have a Reverse Osmosis Filter but they were proven to take thing that are necessities to the body out of it, I just dont want any bugs that have had time to grow and multiply while sitting around.

I used to keep an empty bottle on my desk labelled "Instant Water" (with the required fine print underneath saying "Just add water.") Someone stole it...

Yep. We have a hard time at our company making our Asian customers believe that the bottled Evian water and any other brand has about 100 times more bacteria than the tab water.

I'm lucky. The tap water up here in the wonderful Pacific Northwest tastes great! I won't even talk about the crude that comes out of the faucets down in Southern California...
