Antares Throat EVO $29 until Thursday...

Just got a notification from Antares that Throat is available for $29 bucks from now until Thursday.  Probably be worth it just for special effects.

      Anyone here with any experience using this? Is it more effects or legit vocal correction?

    It's for vocal manipulation...not pitch correction.  You can adjust the formants and the vocal cavity.  Provides some very fun vocal effects.

    It's actually pretty nifty.  It adds some (but by no means as much or as powerful) stuff like my Flux Trax plug.  Only quicker and easier to use.  Me likey.

     I was all excited until you mentioned the ilok. I know you already have it on your computer Olpal, If I already had it then maybe I would have jumped on this, but as it stands I don't plan to buy ilok.

    I have it and I love it. I used it to create a female lead vocalist of surprisingly excellent quality. Worth the $$ just for that.
