No audio level...

  Ok so I'm using the UA-25EX Audio interface. I downloaded the latest driver for Mac OS X, I'm using Lion. HOWEVER! I installed the driver and plugged in the hard ware. My computer sees the UA-25EX but when I plug a mic into the hardware I don't get a level from my mic, all the settings on my computer and grarge band are set to use the UA-25EX as the audio input but I still don't have a level. HELP!!

    Which input did you plug into? What kind of microphone is it? Does it require phantom power?
