mc6 help

When I record (any instrument except software) I'm only getting signal on one side and playback on one side. I've been converting all clips to mono to hear everything on both sides but it's time consuming. Ex; I plug my guitar cable (quarter inch) into an (eighth inch) adapter and plug that into the back of my computer, when I set my volume level I can see the lights only going up on the left side. Thanks in advance for any help!

you need to select a mono input for the track and not the stereo one.

there should be Left & Right inputs available. use one of those instead of the stereo option..... this will place the sound/wave centered in a mono track. You can still pan it R/L as needed.

You are not sending a stereo signal into mc6 ( like a synthesizer that outputs L & R channels but also can send only the left channel in also and in mono) but only a single channel in (mono) and in all cases that would be the left channel only. The track defaults to a stereo signal to send into it, but it can be either left, or right, or stereo by setting the input to what you are recording in and or mono as mentioned in the previous post.
