I'm trying to experiment a bit with some drums for a track I'm working on. I switched out EZdrummer for Abbey Road without a hitch, as it was just a matter of switching the drum map to EZD within the Kontakt GUI.
Is there a similarly easy way within the BFDeco GUI of setting eco so it will properly play back the midi patterns that shipped with EZD?
Hi Craig
If they are not mapping correctly it's probably because they are mapped to general midi.
I've not done this before but I think if you go to, "tick box" (on the main page next to the question mark)
and select, "key maps" that will take you to the key map page, there in the drop down list you can tell eco
to load a general midi map.
This should work but you will then be losing the extra articulations that Eco is capable of. (There are 10 for the hi-hats)
When ever I've loaded general mid maps from old midi drum tracks I made I've just gone into the piano roll view,
selected the errant kit piece (e.g cymbal playing as a tom) and dragged them to there correct kit piece.
So as long as you know what's what in your midi tracks it's a pretty quick solution.
Cheers
Steve
