Favorite GQ pose? That's easy. :-) My Aunt Idabelle was the managing editor for many years and she put my baby picture in as a gag when they needed some filler for a picture frame... or something like that. So, that's my favorite GQ pose. No doubt. Ever wonder how I learned about white socks? Probably not. :-) best regards, mike

:-) The Lederhosen were sent down as gift to Miami from NYC during the Sound of Music movie run. I guess it was a fad to dress your kid in them. I still have them, and the original picture somewhere. They are hard cracked leather now. We always thought our Aunt was kinda cool, as she had made the transition from Vogue to become the Managing Editor listed on the GQ masthead back in the day when few women worked those types of jobs. We knew she had done something special. :-)

I wish I still had mine.

I wish I still had mine. We have photos of me in several unusual outfits from when I was young. One is similar your lederhosen--it's the traditional outfit from Norway. I hesitate to call it a uniform because there are variations, but it is pretty close to being a uniform. I only had to wear it for certain holidays like the Seventeenth of May which is similar to our Independence Day. I came to hate it as I got older, but they are fond memories now.
