Had to wipe my hard drive, now I need Sonar back...help!
I had to wipe my hard drive clean this week. My Sonar X1 Producer was a download and I did not have a hard disk. I still have the serial number and registration code, as well as a receipt of purchase. I tried contacting support, but haven't heard back and projects are piling up. Does anyone know of a work around? Is there a way to download the trial and covert it to a registered copy? HELP!!!! :)

Go to your account in the CW Store and it will still be there for you to DL.

Just go the the "My Account" section of the store, insert password and a list of everything you have purchased directly/registered from Cakewalk will be listed with download links on the right. The my account link is at the top of this page under "Cakewalk Store". Jeff

Yes. You can see the registration code on the Sonar X1 Producer line from 2/17/2011 (that I blurred out for obvious reasons). I downloaded the trial version that is fully functional for 30 days so I can get caught back up with my clients, but if you know of anything else I can do before I get on the phone with Cakewalk support on Monday, that would be great. I already e-mailed them on Wednesday and haven't heard back.

Jason, don't want to derail your thread, and I hope you get it sorted, but seeing your account propted me to check my own. (And while there are knowledgable people online etc to answer) There are 3 updates there dated today, for the concrete limiter etc, and all are Ver 1.01 - do these need to be downloaded and applied??
Win10 64-bit. Intel i7QuadCore 4.20GHz. 32Gb Ram. Sonar Platinum.

John, I tried that too, but no luck. I guess I'll just call on Monday and see if I can get it sorted out. The problem with the trial version is that I don't have any of the effect chains (Gate, Reverb, etc.) which really sucks. Thanks for your help. Bonjo, I don't have any updates showing up on my account, so I'm not sure what you're referring to.

It's strange that your Guitar Rig 4 LE is showing up in your account along with your serial number. My account does not show Guitar Rig 4 LE...I had to register it directly through the Native Instruments website.

Thankfully with the PC module updates,you don't have to re-register. Jason,man that is a nightmare,I feel for your frustration,I hate to say it,but why did you not copy it to a USB/SD/Multi DVD/CDR's? Due to a terrible hassle with my internet speed/account,I didn't upgrade by downloading,and went from Studio to Producer,by buying boxed versions both times. I even back up every module,update,plugin,everything,sorry to hear of this. Bob S.
