Pro Channel Tips and Tricks

Hey all,

I just put up a blog post about things I love about using the Pro Channel. Many of these features you probably already know/use, but I've thrown in a more obscure idea on complimentary EQ in the Manual Groups section as well.

http://mezzaninefloorstudios.com/blog/?p=62

I've submitted a feature request to Cakewalk about making a single-click button for setting up complimentary EQ. You can do it with manual groups now, which I've described in the blog post. I think being able to do it with all the parametric bands on the Pro Channel EQ by simply selecting two tracks and clicking a button would be awesome! Let me know what you think. :-)

Peace,

Tunes

    bigsmoove23 you have good eyes!

I'm running two mods from http://www.sonarmods.com/.

The first, which affects the look of the mixer overall is "darkside x1d Expanded English x64."

The second, which only affects the ProChannel EQ, but makes it easier to read and cleaner to look at (IMHO) is the "QuadEQ Black Label2 for Expanded English 64bit."

I like the way things look with these mods too. :-)

    Peace,

Bob, it's actually a combo of Panu's mods.  The first, which affects the look of the mixer overall is "darkside x1d Expanded English x64."

The second, which only affects the ProChannel EQ, but makes it easier to read and cleaner to look at (IMHO) is the "QuadEQ Black Label2 for Expanded English 64bit."

    Peace,
