Melodyne - Fast Bounce when bouncing to new clip not working

I've filed an error report with Cakewalk regarding this.
 
I thought I'd just mention it in a separate thread as the other one was marked 'Solved', when in fact there IS something broken, i.e. that 'Fast Bounce' of a Melodyne clip to a post-Melodyned track used to work in 8.5 and now doesn't. **
 
The two alternatives/workarounds are:-
(1) Untick 'Fast Bounce' when bouncing the treated clip to a separate track.
(2) Use (from the top main menu) Process/Apply Effect/Audio Effects. Fast Bounce works ok here but of course you lose your original clip, unless you cloned it beforehand.
 
Right click on the clip and Bounce To Clip(s) doesn't work, i.e. is doesn't incorporate any FX in the bin.  Looking at the Help file this seems normal behaviour as this command is for combining clips.
 
**Contrary to the experience of Lanceindastudio (and maybe others) I believe Fast Bounce WAS working for me in X1 before X1D, although I can't swear to it 100% as I stopped using Melodyne because of a separate Melodyne issue (oddly suffered by some Sonar users and not others) whereby it froze and then it locked Sonar after five or so minutes' use, requiring a cold boot. This issue arose for me when Melodyne brought in Editor and discontinued the old Plugin version which worked fine. They are currently formulating the fix for this.
