Doo, doo, doo...
For over six months there was just a pathway to the backyard. Middle of October I started building a shop so everything stored in the old one moved to the patio. So, you ask? Well today everything is in my shop! Power is on, air-con/heater works, tools...everything! It's taken every evening after work and every weekend for almost exactly six months but I'm done! The Softail was the last item to go in and I just parked it. Wow what a relief. In celebration I thought I'd bring something that all would probably enjoy.. Yes...bacon roses for all...because I feel so good!

Thank you guys. It's very cool...my wife is happy. I'm just glad to be able to breath again. I have many small things to do and get organized before I can start building guitars again but they're minor compared to the major. I've been keeping up with X1 updates and plugs for the pro-channel so looking forward to laying some tracks down too. It's nice being back in the real world.

Haha... I was just thinking about how great your backyard looks compared to others we've seen on here (like Randy's? ). What a difference!

Very cool, Mike. It's hard to imagine the total immersion of such a project going into it. But in that final moment, when you switch of the lights, and close the door, and realize it's really done, man what a feeling. Yeah, that calls for becan roses.

Thank you guys! I do appreciate the kudos. I can't tell you how good it felt waking up this morning and looking out my backdoor. Most things aren't organized and put away in the shop but I hope to make a video so I can give ya'll a spacey tour...hopefully by the coming weekend if not sooner. Robert it was very scary going in. I invested a lot of money in something that I knew very little about. I didn't and still don't know anybody that has experience with this type of building so I knew I was on my own. I did have a friend tie-in the power to the house, had a crew sprayfoam the inside and I helped a crew pour the fondation. It was a great learning experience and my wife and I had a lot of fun working together. I couldn't have done it without her. I've sure enjoyed being able to share the project here- you guys have been so cool in supporting this and even though the "tour' will be the end...I'll never forget this trip. My hats off to all....you see, I see alot more than grass when I look out my backdoor. :)
