Automation and the Master Pro Channel Strip

I'm trying to create a fade out in a song. I've automation write enable the master channel and recorded some automation which worked. But it's not smooth! I don't see any nodes to adjust for curve or anything. What do I need to do? I tried to create a Master Track along with my other tracks but that didn't work or I may have done it incorrectly. But, I want to be able to edit my automation in the pro channel and the master strip and I don't see any way to do that. Thanks for any suggs!

You need to adjust the "Edit Filter" to be able to work with automation. You'll find it in the Track Header or by calling up the Tool HUD. Press T or click middle mouse button.

See this video for more info and tips.

Great Video. I'll certainly going back to visit your vids. Oh, one thing, when I bring up my HUD, the Edit Filter isn't there. Only the grid res is visible. I figured out what I was doing wrong though. I always hide the Master and Metronome track because I rarely use them for anything. That's why I couldn't edit the automation I had created. I couldn't see it. But yeah, your video is great, lots of nice tips and tricks. I didn't know the middle button would pull up the HUD. Thanks so much! So, your town whines a lot huh? At least in doesn't rain there all the time. I live near Houston Texas. It's miserable here too. Don't feel bad. ;)
