Greetings and salutations.

Hey guys and gals good day to you!
A good friend of mine suggested I check out this part of the forum and said that I could probably find like minded individuals here. He posts on here regularly (miguel0210)

A little something about myself first I guess. I'm a teen from the Philippines, I like old 80's punk and metal and recently rekindled my passion for old school rap.
I play in a crust punk/speed/early BM metal(Discharge,Motorhead,Venom,Sodom influences etc) band called Goblin Warhead, we're in the infantile stages of being in one, have a really fuzzy noisy raw live rehearsal demo out but to post it here would be an affront to the cool cats here studying up on producing music haha! :P           Oh and I'd like to cook for a living! (culinary student)

Does anyone here have any tips for people that want to be good at MC'ing, rapping and writing verses in general? How do you start?
Any Old school hip hop oriented people around here?

Cheers to you for reading this!  peace

Live long and prosper.

I am not miguel0210 here, Carlos. Although i think most of the CHB family already know me as my name.

Anyway, let's give a welcome to my friend Carlos!

Welcome, Carlos.  We've got all sorts of folks in here.  We've got musicians, rappers, and bass players.

I'm kidding, of course.  Some rappers are musicians.  Anyway, I'm sure someone can help you out there.  In the meantime, pull up a stool, fill up a mug and enjoy.  The company here is great and it's an excellent place to spend a few hours when you should be doing something productive.

    Glad to have you here.

    Hi Carlos and welcome.

If you want to write good a rap, find any post by UbiquitousBubba, print it out and arrange the sentences in random order.

Bubba was too modest to say that on this thread.

    Hey Carlos,

I like cut of you jib. A single post. Just remember, post count matters not.

By the way, do you cook the jib or eat it raw?

It would take 12K of my posts to make up any post (as long as) of Bubba's. And mine would still be inconceivable incomprehensible.
