I've been monitoring threads here looking for a clue.
So far I'm clueless.
In order, then, to discover the limit of deepest tones, it is necessary not only to produce very violent agitations in the air but to give these the form of simple pendular vibrations. - Hermann von Helmholtz, predicting the role of the electric bassist in 1877.

If you have the answer perhaps we could derive the clue from that.

Ah, Drew I found this cryptic message in Beagles sig. It says "All threads lead to Bapu" Could this be the clue?

(celestial chior) And I must point out that Bapu is one of the new breed of better posters here, when I look at his posts it brings a tear to my eye and I think the future of this community is in safe hands. Keep up the good work Bapu well done mate. (/celestial chior)

Also I'd like to hear from anyone who can think of an emerging new Bapu that we are perhaps over-looking merely because they have a paltry post count. It makes me well up to think that somebody may even reach his and Beagle's post count combined if we just made an effort to encourage them in the right direction.
